Preparing for your first visit
Thoughtful Onboarding
From the moment your first appointment is scheduled, our goal is to make the process seamless and supportive.
You’ll receive access to our secure patient portal to complete your child’s intake forms in advance, allowing us to spend more time focused on care—not paperwork.
Wave Dermatology is a direct care pediatric dermatology practice in Madison, CT, where we put the doctor-patient relationship first. We do not participate with insurance plans, which allows Dr. Lauren Provini to provide unhurried, personalized care with dedicated time to listen, understand your child’s history, and thoughtfully build a comprehensive treatment plan. Our team will also provide documentation to assist with out-of-network insurance reimbursement submissions.
By removing insurance-driven time constraints, we prioritize what matters most: your child’s skin health and your peace of mind.
A Meaningful First Visit
Your first visit is not rushed. It’s a conversation. It’s education. It’s the start of long-term care.
Families who choose Wave Dermatology are often looking for something more than a quick 5–10 minute appointment. They’re looking for time, attention, and a relationship built on trust.
Our belief is that every child deserves to feel confident, understood, and supported—especially when navigating skin concerns that can impact self-esteem.
A Lifetime of Care
Skin conditions evolve as children grow—and so should their care.
Dr. Provini believes education is a cornerstone of effective pediatric dermatology. Every appointment includes time for teaching patients and caregivers how to manage conditions, prevent flares, and feel confident in their treatment plan.
Our Madison, CT office was designed to feel warm, calm, and welcoming for children, adolescents, and families. Caring for your little ones as they grow is our primary focus, and we are equally pleased to offer dermatology services for parents.
Adult services include treatments such as injectable neuromodulators and Vbeam™ pulsed dye laser, making it easy for families to prioritize skin health together.
Comprehensive family dermatology means caring for everyone under one thoughtfully curated roof.
